Notifications

Mango Inventory reports what concerns you: mentions, assigned tickets, status changes on your items, replies to your orders. The bell in the app always receives everything relevant — email and push in the mobile app are controlled per event type, individually.

The bell at the top right shows what’s unread; clicking a notification leads straight to the ticket, order or item. “Show all” opens the full history:

Under Settings → Notifications you choose per event type whether it should additionally reach you by email and push:

Notification settings with email and push toggles

  • In the app, everything always arrives — the bell is complete, without any configuration.
  • Email and push are deliberately quiet by default: only for personally addressed things like mentions, tickets assigned to you, stocktake assignments, status changes on items you hold or are responsible for, and rejected orders.
  • Email delivery: Instant or Daily digest — a single email each morning with everything from the previous day, grouped by record.

Owners set organization defaults on the same page — the section is collapsed by default and opens with a click on its title. Sensible presets for all 50 staff members, instead of everyone configuring for themselves. Anyone with their own preferences simply overrides the defaults; one click on “Use org defaults” restores them.
